Head Coach: Darryl Smith graduated from Hackensack High School in 1980. Darryl has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Master’s degree in Management. Darryl is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of New Jersey. Darryl played two years of high school basketball and one year in college. Darryl has been a volunteer coach with Hackensack Jr. Basketball since 1996.
Assistant Coach: Talmadge Portee played four years of high school basketball and graduated from Hackensack High School in 1985. Talmadge has a BS degree in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Talmadge has been a volunteer coach with Hackensack Jr. Basketball since 2010.
(2012-13 Season) Assistant Coach: Danny Wilson played four years of high school basketball and graduated from Hackensack High School in 1996. Danny is a certified USA boxing coach and is Owner/ Head Coach/ Fitness Coach at Good Newz Boxing. Danny was an assistant coach with the Bergen County Knights Pop Warner Football Team in 2011 & 2012. Danny has been a volunteer coach with Hackensack Jr. Basketball since 2009.
