5/24/2016 - Congratulations to former Hackensack Jr. Comet Edward Emedoh on registering his 1,000th career kill in volleyball. Edward is second in career volleyball kills at Hackensack High School.

3/07/2016 - Congratulations to Hackensack High School for winning the North 1, Group 4 State Championship.

5/13/2015 - Congratulations to former Hackensack Jr. Comet Jiovanny "Jio" Fontan, who was hired by Queen of Peace high school as varsity head coach of the girls basketball team.

2/24/2015 - Former Hackensack Jr. Comet Bright Mensah, who plays at William Paterson University was named NJAC Defensive Player of the Year.

2/17/2015 - Former Hackensack Jr. Comet Justin Salem, who plays at Bergen Catholic High School, scored his 1,000th career point in a game against St. Joseph High School.

11/13/2013 - Former Hackensack Jr. Comet and current Georgetown University freshman Reggie Cameron scored nine points, hitting three first half three-pointers in an 88-70 win over Wright State University.

4/27/2013 - Congratulations to former Hackensack Jr. Comet Steve Beauharnis for getting drafted in the seventh round by the New England Patriots.

2/27/2013 - Former Hackensack Jr. Comets Gene Marshall and Chris Myers, who plays at Hackensack High School, scored their 1,000th career point in a game against Passaic Tech High School.

9/26/2012 - Former Hackensack Jr.Comet Reggie Cameron committed to play college basketball at Georgetown University.

2/02/2012 - Former Hackensack Jr. Comet Reggie Cameron, who plays at Hudson Catholic High School, scored his 1,000 career points in a game against University Charter High School.

12/18/2010 - Former Hackensack Jr. Comet Jiovanny "Jio" Fontan played in his first college basketball game for University of Southern Cal, which was televised nationally on ESPN.  USC played #3 ranked Kansas and lost a close game by a score of 70 to 68.  Jio scored 15 points.
